I've tried Adium already, I like most of what it offers, but it doesn't do everything that MSN does.

I would like a substitute for messenger that shows personal messages and songs that I, as well as my contacts are currently listening to. If Adium offers this, then I have no idea how to configure it to do so.

Are you aware of MSN messenger for Mac?

I know you want a substitute, but MSN for Mac does everything you're looking for, plus has the familiar controls and features.
