I need to know what the iPhone bezel is made of. Some places have claimed it is chrome plated stainless steel. Othersa say just stainless steel. Other suggest alumimium. Anyone know for sure?

I'm not positive, but for those who suggested aluminum, I believe it would be adonized aluminum.

Not the iPod's bezel, the iPhone's. It's shiny.

    yeh that seems right.

i think its the material they use on the back of the iPod touch's, the shiny metal. it scratches but is shiny and can get fingerprints on it. trouble is, i dont know what the material is

It seems like chrome electroplated plastic. You know it's metal, but it seems kind of cheap, like it was just plastic.
