what is HDR? what do you get out of it?

    i enabled hdr on my touch and the pics kinda look different but noticably much. what is it doing? how does hdr help with photo quality? and other sruff?

    it adds quite a bit of quailty to the pictures

    HDR = High Dynamic Range Imaging

    What it does is it takes 3 pictures. One under normal exposure. One with high exposure, and one with low exposure. It mashes the three photos to create an improved photo that looks as if it were seen from a human eye. It does add some quality to the photo.

    From what I've noticed, if you are taking pictures indoors you get lots of white noise (grains). Download a noise reducer for the PC to get rid of this. Out doors the noise is black.

    But iFunBox runs off of a USB cord

    You need an usb cable to use iFun Box and you don't need it when you ssh in your iPod/iPhone when you use WinSCP, it uses WiFi.
