what is full screen safari?

    I just dont understand what this means. is it safari without the blue bar on the bottom? or is there something more to it that i am missing.

    I think it means safari with no address bar or bottom bar,so you have a full screen.

    Sorry to sound like the idiot, but how would you type or save bookmarks?

    You just double tap on the the status bar to get it to appear and dissapear. This will only be available in 2.0.

    and.... how exactly do you return to the previous page:|.. will the buttons be... transparent or somethin'?

    With previous firmwares, Safari would always have the address bar and bottom bar there, you couldn't get rid of it. Now, these can be hidden and quickly retrieved with a tap where you can now locate the buttons for going back/forward a page, bookmarking, etc. and likewise, you can tap to make these bars hidden again.

    tbh i don't see the point of full screen safari. does the status bar really take up THAT much room? plus i tihnk it will be more annoying to have to double tap and stuff
