Working on something, I found a nice zip of all the default springboard files etc..

    in there are FSO_NES.png & Default_NES.png
now yeah, it looks like a mini NES controller... and yeah it appears when playing the NES emu... but was this REALLY a default icon from a non JB'd touch?

    anyone know for sure?
    Thanks!

Well I don't have NES on my iPod, but from the name it looks like it could be the status bar for NES.

it fits IN the statusbar just to the left of the battery img... you DONT have NES on yours?

could you look in /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/ and see if you have the FSO_NES.png and Default_NES.png?

why are these there if the ipod doesnt come with NES!! lol
    stumped

I believe the images are a part of the NES package when installed from Cydia.

yeah it shows in the status bar when you are playing NES or when you leave a game running in the background without saving and exiting properly. I have it on mine even though i no longer have NES installed.

Bingo, its showing a GAME is running in the Background... that makes sense. Like the PLAY > icon when music is running.

    Thanks!!
