What I thought to be dead pixels, actually are . . .

    It almost looks like someone took a knife to it, but my opinion is just dirt caught under the screen.

    I had an old CD drive lying around that had been taken apart. I used the focusing lens for the laser, and my crappy blackberry camera.

    You should make a how-to make a super lens (maybe for iphone cameras--with the option for any camera really).

    Really the only thing I did was place the lens on top of the ipod touch and put my camera up real close.

    Yeah I also have dust under my screen, you can see it when the screens off...
