What harm could redsn0w cause?

    I'm trying to decide if I should do rslite. I'm really good with computers and I know HTML. I'm just trying to figure out what the risks are.

    It can't cause any harm.

    Seriously, writing to places you shouldn't write to with commands you shouldn't use is the only way to brick an iPod.

    Redsn0w uses nothing of the sort.

    I guess I'm waiting for a fool proof tut that's been confirmed to work every time. Or a GUI

    Well yeah. Did anyone do this on a 2.2.1 firmware using an emac? If so which tut did you use?

    Doesnt matter that you know HTML, and there will never be a fool proof tutorial. There is always going to be people something wrong.
