I know this has probably been asked before, but I don't know if anything has changed recently. If I sync my iPod to iTunes, what will happen? Mine is an iPod 4 running iOS 5.0.1 (Now jailbroken). What happens if I let iTunes sync my iPod? Will the jailbroken be undone?

Will I lose all my progress and save data for my apps and games? Can it brick my iPod?

You can sync normally, and nothing unexpected will happen :)

You can sync normally without any risk of anything bad happening. :)

The Apps tab gets a little derpy if you have any homescreen icon-tweaking things installed, but other than that everything works fine.

    You will have to restore!

Joking :p Nothing haappens to any game saves, cydia tweak, themes and apps etc. Whats cool though, is if you have a theme, go to the app section nder you iDevice name, it shows the theme

Thanks, now I can use iTunes with confidence again. lol

I have been nervous about connecting my iPod to my computer ever since I jailbroke.

I jailbroke originally so that I could use DataDeposit. I wanted to be able to delete apps to free up memory, and them redownload them again and restore my saves when I wanted to play again.

DataDeposit is pretty cool. Poke around in Cydia, you can do SO much when you're jailbroken, it's amazing!!
    Again. :(

So, can someone fill me in on the capabilities of a Jailbroken iPod? I'm still trying to decide if I want to stay jailbroken, or revert. The ability to save my save data to my computer is pretty great though. Why couldn't Apple think to do that?
