I have a samsung galaxy s3 (from VW and rooted.) I made a call to a friend and everything was fine. I told the friend I would call back soon. I locked the phone and then when I tryed to call back, the friend told me the caller ID now said I was a private caller. I called another friends phone and he said the same( this friend on the same network as me). I rebooted the phone but it still said private, also I could no longer send txt messages. Then 10 minutes later it went back to normal. Wuat happened? Could something have went wrong because I'm rooted?
Nope, that's just a carrier mishap. Something similar happened to my dad a few times between his iPhone and Blackberry on Verizon, and it's happened to me once with my myTouch on T-Mobile. I call em carrier farts, it randomly happens then fixes itself moments later.
Oh, well thats good. Something I forgot to mention. Is it a bad that my serial number shows up as all zeros??? Or is that agakn because of the root? Also, my Mobile Network state says disconnected. Which I thought was odd.
