My ipod seems to suffer from some battery indicator problem...

Today it was about 40% when i plugged it into the pc, and the battery indicator immediately became full although the big battery in the centre of the screen shows only 40%. Anyway, that thing didn't charge, so I thought probably it was not time yet.

So I installed a couple of apps... played a few rounds of games...and the battery finally see red. So I quit the game and not long after it went back to green! (although it's pretty near 20%)

BTW I charged it two days ago on a wall adapter.

Is there something wrong with my ipod? Does charging on wall adapter cause this?

    Thanks.

Same thing is happening to me. Although, I don't want to take it to apple because I have custom writing on the back that I want to keep. They will give me a damn returbed one.

Do they just give you refurbed unit if you go to Apple?

BTW how do you get over this problem?

Nvm thanks...I think many people are facing the same problem too...

Hope it's just a software problem and fixable on the next update.

Do you mean beyond 10% until it shuts down by itself ? Sorry for a dumb question I'm quite new to this thing.
