its too easy now. blackra1n is one click
I agree I liked being involved but I'm not complaining. Blackra1n is still great
Uhh, I believe it was 2.1.1. Well, it was the last version of 2.1.
My 2nd Gen running on 2.2.1, I was so excited! Now it's like okay...what ever.
3.0 with redsn0w, then 3.1.2 with blackra1n.
There still hasn't been anyone below 1.1.1
I first tried to jailbreak when I was on 2.2.1, but the only program I knew about that would work with that version was QuickFreedom (I didn't search enough I guess...) and I got the Blue Screen of Death because of LibUSB. I also thought I had screwed up my iPod because I had gotten into DFU mode and I didn't know how to reboot it. After that I was scared to try again so I simply didn't wanna jailbreak anymore. Then 3.0 came out and I heard about Redsn0w. I decided to try it and it worked like a charm. I soon became a jailbreak addict and regreted my lack of perseverance (and knowledge xD) with 2.2.1. I rejailbroke a few times with Redsn0w because of certain apps I shouldn't have installed, then I used a custom firmware from PwnageTool for 3.1.1 and finally Blackra1n for 3.1.2 and Redsn0w afterwards, to get custom boot and recovery logos.
Touching story, eh?
