    Ignore Him, though it is rather obvious.

    v2 = Version 2
    v3 = Version 3

    Well, V3 and V2 can be used to talk about ICBM like Rockets used during WWII and in games such as Command & Conquer Red Alert I,II, and III.

    I have a Ducati motorbike and it has a V2 (aka: vee twin) engine in it.

    VW designed a "W" engine with 5 cylinders that was often dubbed a "V5", so a smaller version with 3 cylinders would be a good guess at being called a V3...

    Hope that helps... because i know it hasn't
