What does this mean ? On SSH

    I read some forums, about adding this app.
    They followed the instructions I followed.. EXACTLY. Then he reposts saying he figured it out. He writes " Ah, figured it out for myself...
    chmod 775 -R". Before it was "3) chmod 775" so what's the - R?

    -R means you're changing permissions recursively. In other words, if you're changing the permissions of a folder to 755 with the "-R" option, the contents of the folder will all be changed to 755 as well.
