what does ssh mean

    it says to install a theme i need to ssh into my ipod touch. what does that mean?

    SSH stands for Secure Shell. It has many uses beyond meager tasks like transferring themes over a network, but for your purposes, see this thread.

    SSH = Secure Shell.
    What it basically does is lets you open your iPod's files (as long as it, and your computer, has wifi).

    You can download "OpenSSH" on Cydia, and get the SBsettings toggle for it.

    what's the difference between wired and wireless connections? also what do i enter as my host, my isp address

    um, uncalled for aggression. I did read the guide but since there are still small details left unanswered, and i would prefer not accidentally screwing something up i figured id ask.

    You know you can just use isutal

    which has all the ipod file transfer clients, you dont need wifi only a usb connection

    you don't need to set anything its all there

    Which is so easy to set up and use, a Swedish Chipmunk can do it! I am not an advertiser..
