    Application Processor: The iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPod Touch all use the S5L8900x processor. The bootrom exploit that Pwnage 2.0 uses is based in this processor, and the only option for Apple was to do a hardware change. So they did. The new iPod Touch 2 application processor is the S5L8720x. The WTF 2.0 that Apple tries to fix the DFU 1.0 stack overflow in is now burned into the bootrom of the new iPod Touch, in essence making it DFU 2.0. In laymens terms, Apple fixed the exploit that allowed us to use Pwnage 2.0.

    Model: Each device has a different model. Here is a list:
    M68AP - iPhone
    N82AP - iPhone 3G
    N45AP - iPod Touch
    N72AP - iPod Touch 2G

    Firmware Build Numbers: These are entirely different. They are numbers assigned to each build of firmware for any of the devices, for example, 5C1 was 2.0.2, and 5F136 is 2.1...for the iphone anyway...137 for itouch, and 138 for itouch 2g, probably so we cant get the decryption keys

    Wow...
    You just answered your own question!
    Seriously, why does it need a definition? I'll make it simple...
    N72AP = IPOD TOUCH 2G.
    It's been this random letters for every single firmware! (5A347, 5C1 etc.)

    wut doz sopis men?

    And you must have an anger management problem if you get angry when you cant find the definition of something when the definition is right in front of you.
