What happens when you truly brick your ipod? i think i may have done it. It wont turn on, the computer wont recognize it, nothing will recoginize it.

When you brick your iPod, the file-system is completely deleted. If you think you have done it, you must tell me why you think it is not working...

Did you install a bad app?

Did it just look like that when you woke up and turned it on?

That is pretty stupid, as there are numerous other ways to do this, but I'm not going to flame you or anything. It's your iPod touch, not mine! Anyways, try placing it into DFU mode? See my iPod touch Reference, links in my signature, and scroll down to 'How to place iPod touch into DFU mode' section.

If DFU mode does not work, I don't exactly know. What did Apple say when you wanted to replace it?
