What do you think the new OS will do with development process of the new ipod touch, from both the app development and the jailbreak development?

Will we have access to bluetooth?
Will the jailbreak community be able to use the Peer - Peer stuff?
If so....can we transfer apps without the need for Wifi? (looking forward to this if true)

What are your views, and where would you like to see the community headed?

All I know is I sure as hell am not paying $10 to fix what was broken before... these are things that should have been in there at launch.

It should only take a few days to make patches for the new OS, assuming that they haven't changed too much... I can only suspect that they have though being that they went as far as to rewrite the SpringBoard (or at least update it)

and with a thousand new APIs.... some internal structure is bound to be different.

yeah, even if we get R/W access to it, which we will, it will still take ages to port apps over.

It totally depends on whether or not they are still going with the chroot jail environment... If they didn't, I'm honestly not sure how else they would be able set everything up. Hopefully nothing has really changed
