What do you see as a "killer app" for a jailbroken iPod touch?

I can think of lots of things that are really useful or fun -- NES.app, MobileChat.app, ssh, VNC, etc. -- but what types of applications do you think people could write that would really work uniquely well on the iPod touch or iPhone?

This is an important question because the answer to it can be used as evidence to Apple that their "Web 2.0 SDK" is simply not good enough.

    Slingbox & iTunes Wifi

I want my ipod touch to do wifi syncing with my desktop before the zune does.

Slingbox/Slingplayer support would be the ultimate feature for me.

What would be really awesome is if it could sync across the internet.

But I guess Apple would reserve a .Mac membership for that.

Wifi video conferencing would be just too cool. We'll have to wait for a camera attachment for the Ipod touch though.

    Good question!!!

I totally agree with the java....just the games alone....
ok most are under 1mb but, it gives you options....

For me, a dedicated program that simulates a control for
    most games...usually the D pad.

I guess what I really want is a FM radio app. I know sounds stupid
but, really how many times can you listen to songs on 8gb??

Or, not even software at all. Phones with controls on them..so
you don't even have to take it out of your pocket...

Seriously considering rigging my old psp earphones and see if
    it might work....

Heres one that could save alot of lives.... Someone should make an app so that we can use the sleep and home buttons as volume up and volume down. I almost drove off the highway today. I really can't understand why Apple didn't think of this.

How about one of those WEP key crackers? That would be very handy...
