    Hi,
I am trying to find out what I need to buy so that my boyfriend can play his new ITouch in his car. I am trying to surprise him for his birthday but am totally in the dark about what I need to do/buy. He has a Mitsubishi Eclipse, I believe 2006. I have read a few posts but find that the FM transmitter doesn't make for great sound quality. Is there anything that will work better? Thanks!

I assume he doesn't have a tape deck, which I am lucky to have in my 03 TL, the only other route is to get some sort of adapter to hook up to the back of the radio unless he has an AUX input for a stereo cord.

    depends on the car.

as said above, a tape deck would be very convenient because you could use this.
however, if you dont have one you can buy sonething like this.

Best thing to do is to buy a Cd System (Maybe Alpine) and have the data cable for the ipod added (Alpines models have them i bought one myself). The Audio Cd player should be around 140-150$ and the cable is 30-45$ extra

so for a guy that has an Eclipse as a car ... it's a pretty cheap gift
