I've done a search, no answers came back that apply to 1.1.3. Perhaps my search-fu is weak, but I'll ask anyway and risk the flames.

I've got a 1.1.3 16GB iPod Touch, stock but with apps add-on released last month. Serial number indicates it's a week 40 2007 iPod Touch. I'm on a Mac running Leopard, iTunes version 7.6. I synch this iPod Touch, a 16GB iPhone and an old 3G iPod to this iTunes install.

If I want to Jailbreak my iPod Touch, it appears I may (or may not) lose my music off of the device. No big deal really as I have it all in my library on the Mac. But once it's Jaibroken, can I re-synch my music/videos/etc back onto the device? Or can I no longer use iTunes with my newly-JB'd iPod Touch? Keep in mind I still use iTunes for the iPhone (it's not JB'd, never will be).

Everything will work fine and sync back with no problems. Go back to 1.1.1-1.1.2 and the Dev Team 1.1.3-3 on the installer. Actually you really should wait for a couple weeks but you can practice in the mean time if you like.

After you jailbreak you can sync your Touch like a non-jailbroken Touch.

You should jailbreak 1.1.2, PM if you need help

Jailbreak 1.1.3 when the Dev team releases their version of the 1.1.3 True Jailbreak when the SDK is released which should be soon.

    Thanks for the answers all.

So if I'm on Mac, can I JB using the Windows methods that exist out there, then re-synch back my music on my iTunes for Mac, or do I need to JB using the OS that I intend to synch iTunes with later?

    Thanks again. Last question...I hope.

What about all my DRM-protected stuff I've purchased off of iTunes. Will it still work once I've Jailbroken the iPod Touch?

ZiPhone and 1.1.2-1.1.3 jailbreak doesn't break DRM. I don't know about 1.1.1-1.1.3 jailbreak.

OK, but I've read all kinds of threads on here stating that Ziphone doesn't work on 16GB iPod Touch. True or false?
