I don't want this to turn into a Mac Vs PC, but I really want to know the advantages of a PC over a Mac. Don't talk about advantages of windows over osx, because a Mac can run windows and osx, so you pc fanboys are screwing yourselves over when you give things windows can do. So far I have: crashes and long boot ups

you know in my 6 or whatever years of using photoshop on a windows machine i've never once had it crash

and in my, oh, 40 hours total of using photoshop on a mac i've had it crash twice

    just sayin'

edit: and on topic, windows has a far superior music player (aka foobar2000)

Actually it's been found that Snow Leopard crashes more than Windows 7 and is more insecure, but you can believe what you want.

Windows is good for gaming. OSX Graphics drivers are simply terrible (they make ATI driver's look good, which is nearly impossible) . Play the same game with the same GPU in a PC and a Mac. the PC will be like 30 FPS higher.

I think that there are some apps on Mac that are awesome. Those are the apps that are developed just for a Mac.

In my experience, apps that are cross-platform usually aren't very good on the Mac end.

Well out of my 5 years of using macs and pcs I have had:

3 mac crashes and about 20 windows. Both have been kept up to date with the lastest releases of OSX and Windows.
