    Hi
I've changed my carrier image on the main screen to show my name. I made the background for the png black. Does anybody know what shade of grey the default png is. I'm using photoshop CS2 to create the png files. I tried transparent but when I saved the file it defaulted to white and then looked wrong. Thanx

Hm.. I used transparent in Photoshop, too, and it just blends with the header the way it should.
So I'm curious why it doesn't work for you. Let's wait for a "Pro" to answer.

You probably have your matte set to white or you saved it as a 256 colour PNG. Check your settings. It should be 16/24 bit PNG with alpha transparency and matte turned off.

all you have to do is make it a transparent background PNG , IE no color in the background of the text
