WHAT are THE RISKS OF JAILBREAKING?

    What are the cons of jailbreaking?

    You might have to restore your ipod..... yup thats about it. Oh and it voids your warranty, but a restore makes your warranty valid again, so I see no risk.

    Their are some apps out there that may cause your ipod to run a little slower, but its really not noticeable at all unless your running a bunch of widgets and MS extensions at the same time.

    There pretty much are no cons to jailbreaking because you can go back to your normal non-jailbroken state with the push of a button.

    A downside for me is battery life, it went down a whole lot after the jailbreak. Doesn't bother me that much but it's still something I don't like.

    Ill tell you the truth, the biggest con is noobs complaining about the jailbreak more then enjoying it.
    Pretty much no risks as you can just restore back to the original state.
