Sorry, I don't know and would like to as well. If it had 2 GB RAM and 1.5 GHZ it would be incredible.

It better have atleast a gig of ram. If it doesn't, then I really won't trust apple anymore.

That's an idiotic thing to say.

Yeah, a gig of ram would be nice. But if it doesn't have it, it's not like Steve Jobs personally came to your house and sh*t in your Wheaties. It simply means that they went with cheaper memory amounts.

I'd expect either 512MB or 1GB. The 3G Touches have 256MB, so I'd lean more towards the 512 in the iPad.

Apple A4 is CPU+GPU+IO in one chip case, CPU is cortex ARM GPU is PowerVR (same as in 3GS i think)

I doubt it'll have a 9400GM. Apple always disappoint in the graphics department. Just look at the current "high end" range of Macs.

It is a "System on a chip". like Shadowriver said. From what I've read it's comparable to a Nivida Tegra 2. It's a very capable chip in a very small, energy efficient package. Dual-core ARM Cortex A9.

You can't expect PC quality graphics, but you will get the best graphics on a mobile device ever. As for ram, who knows? Apple doesn't want multitasking so it's probably just enough to get the job done. Like all the ipods and iphones so far. Enough to do the job it was intended to do and not much more.
