When browsing http://support.apple.com/manuals/# you'll notice that Apple has yet to publish iOS 6's user guide for iPad. It's no mistake. They publish one for every major firmware but have yet published one for iPad for iOS 6. People on Apple's support forums have also noticed (and complain) about the lack of manual, here and here. When the iPad mini comes Apple will publish it as both an ebook and PDF. It's better to kill three birds (iPad 2, iPad 3 and iPad mini) with one stone than it is to with three (or two) stones. Each manual has been published on the device's respective release date yet. Be it EarPods or iPods. iOS 6 has been out in the air for almost a month (née 9/19) now. Still no sign of it for iPad. If the iPad mini is to be released on November 2nd, then expect a same day manual release.
That's a totally legitimate observation, and I really think you're right about that. They held back on releasing a manual because the one they have prepared also covers an unannounced device. Nice find.
Alright. The iPod touch 4G didn't have a manual for iOS 6 until the iPod touch 5G was released on...October 9th. Same situation here and with the iPhone too.
I also noticed that manuals for Mountain Lion, Lion and the "new" Mac Pro are missing. Somewhat meaningless.
I remember when iFans didn't post up rumors everyday, I actually kinda got excited for new devices...
Gotta keep up with the rumors, or others will look at other websites for news Often I check 9to5Mac and MacRumors before I come to iFans.
