I am having trouble jailbreaking my IPod Touch 3g 4.1 using Limera1n beta. Im on itunes 10.0.1 and ipod touch 3g 4.1

    This is what i do:

    1. download limera1n

    2. open limera1n

    3. click make it ra1n ( my ipod is plugged in and is at the 4.1 menu)

    4. do all the steps necessary to jailbreak using this guide... http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=315793

then it says its done and it goes to this screen...

    what should i do?

I do restart my ipod to try and see if cydia or limera1n app is there but it is not.

    Thanks

are you sure your running the latest beta of limera1n? and i don't think your connect to itunes logo should look like that:s (it should have a pic of the new 30-pin connector)

Yes I am running beta 4 and I got that pic off the web. My pic shows the new 30 pin connector

I had the same problem i just restored it to normal without any songs on it.

Get the latest limera1n and run it as administrator with windows xp 3 compatability

When it tells you to hold the power and home button.

MAKE SURE YOU RELEASE THE HOME BUTTON and just hold onto the home button until the limera1n logo pops up and it should work

I'm sorry i meant release the power button not the home button. Release the power button and hold onto the home button.

It seems if you dont do this the first time it messes up everytime afterwards somehow
