Ok guys so i've downgraded my 32gb to 1.1.1 then up to 1.1.3 and my question is, what are the programs I absolutely need from installer.app to make it functional and not freeze? I have searched and haven't really found a good answer. Only thing i've been able to find is install BSDsubsystem but what else do i need?

    Thanks
    Austin

i would also suggest boss tools and boss prefs for relocating your apps which your going to need later. I would also suggest SSH if you would already have it.

...and you need to put more sources for apps into your installer if you haven't already done so. Try to go to Install/Sources in Installer and select "Community Sources". It will install and then refresh your sources which may take several minutes.

You then have more apps available in installer.

I like the weDict dictionary program which I use for Spanish/English translation. I also have Websters Dictionary in it.

Then I have an app called Converter, which converts anything from currencies to gallons and ounces and whatnot into metric. And even Torque.

WebSearch is a desktop icon where you can search Google and Imdb and all kinds of things in one window.

Some good games are Backgammon, iSolitaire, HuaRongDao, Tris and Garf.

Lots more, but those are the ones that I like and use the most. This is subjective obviously. There are localized apps, like I have the bus schedules for Oslo for instance. And the TV guide for my country.

Try not to overdo it. You can move some things around to get more space for apps if you need to have a ton of them.
