As soon as apple released the new iPhone update v 1.1.2, it was hacked in almost no time.. The idea is to downgrade to 1.1.1 first then jailbreak the iphone the old way, and then upgrade to 1.1.2 and here is Step by step how to do so:

warning: you need to backup your iPhone in case something goes wrong, you can do so by sync your iPhone with iTunes.
    1) Get a working version of 1.1.1 in case you need to downgrade your iPhone.. here is how

    2) Visit jailbreakme.com , jailbreak your iPhone.. by now you should see installer icon in your home screen, if you already have this, skip this step.

    3) Connect your iPhone to iTunes, make sure you already have the update button available in iTunes before the next step.

    4) Open up Installer, Go to the Tweaks (1.1.1) category, and install "OktoPrep".

    5) now its time to upgrade to 1.1.2, you can get it from Apple, If safari unziped the file, get the original from the trash and remove the .zip extenstion , now the file name is iPhone1,1_1.1.2_3B48b_Restore.ipsw

    6) Back to iTunes , go to options and upgrade , at the prompt select iPhone1,1_1.1.2_3B48b_Restore.ipsw

    7) After the upgrade is completed , close iTunes.
    The jailbreak

    8) download iPhuc and friends , to get it click here.

    9) Extract the contents so that iphuc, iphonefs, fstab are all on the Desktop.

    10) you should have libreadline, if you don't, download it from here to your macintosh HD.

    11) Open Terminal.app located in Applications>Utilities
    12) Type cd ~/Desktop and hit return

    13) Type ./iphuc and hit return

    14) Type getfile disk/ iphonefs/disk 314572800 and hit return. This will take about five minutes. Once complete, there will be a file named "disk" in your "iphonefs" folder

    15) Add .dmg to the end of the file. It should end up being disk.dmg

    16) Double click the file to mount it

    17) Open the newly mounted Oktoberfest3B48b.UserBundle drive and open the "etc" folder. Replace the fstab file inside the "etc" folder with the supplied fstab file.

    18) Download AppTapp Installer , place it on your desktop.

    19) Control click "AppTapp Installer" and click "Show Package Contents". Navigate to Contents>Resources. Copy Installer.app from the "Resources" folder over into the "Applications" folder inside Oktoberfest3B48b.UserBundle. Do the same for libarmfp.dylib, placing it inside usr>lib instead of Applications.

    20) Unmount the image and you can close any open Finder windows.

    21) Back in Terminal, assuming that you've kept iPHUC up and running, type putfile iphonefs/disk.dmg disk/ and hit return. This will take another minute or so. When it's finished, reboot the iPhone and close Terminal. You're jailbroken!
    22) After the phone reboots, activate with iTunes and uninstall "OktoPrep" using Installer.

thats it......... Any problems , please leave your comments.

That is not the official link, and we already have a thread outlining this. And since I'd like to keep Mac JailBreak discussion to one thread for now, I am closing this one.
