Why is the UK getting 2.0 in iTunes and we aren't?
Cuz Apple sucks my ass i get the 1479 error.
I just downloaded it from somewhere else, and I'm updating right now. I'm in Toronto by the way.

why waste your time waiting, it takes about an hour to get it elsewhere, which is much faster than the itunes store (Im in BC)

Richard : Hello I try to update my iPod and i get this strange error called
Richard: one second please
Richard : Unexpected Error 1479
Michelle K: Are you trying to access the 2.0 update?
Richard : 2.0 and even 1.1.4
Richard : I deleted everything all the firmwares stored in my computer
Richard : reinstalled 100 times iTunes rebooted computer
Richard : it gives me that error, I had to restore the 1.1.4 firmware and press shift+restore in order to install the firmware
Michelle K: This is happening because the engineers have removed the update and is going to repost it so more people can access it without interruptions. This should be reposted soon. Please try again in about an hour.
Richard : They've removed the 1.1.4 too?
Michelle K: No but you will need to wait until they reissue the 2.0 before you can update.
Richard : Ok I'll try in a hour ,thank you, oh and if you ever see Mr.Steve Jobs , please tell him to get his things together , that updated failed , and because of that tons of people are getting the 2.0 firmware for free... I didn't it doesn't even work anyway I'm just going to wait the real deal.
