A $100 price drop on the MacBook, and it's $1,000. Instead, Apple gives us an $899 Monitor, that nobody cares about.

How ****ing stupid are they? They should expand the market, instead of "LOL ALUMINUM".

It is kind of stupid...everyone expecting the new macbooks to be affordable when they are actually more expensive...1600$ for a macbook...I know it has the same features but still..

I'm sure in an economic slowdown, Macs will be what everyone turns too!

They're just so affordable for the average family!
    ...Wait a darn minute....weird

if the price is all you care about, then fine, yell at apple all you want
    but apple delivers quality computers
personally, i'd much rather spend more money for an apple computer than
get some windows piece of crap
if you're looking for a something just to get on the internet and network, than even the cheapest computer can do that
but, apple's computers are designed to be used on a professional level, as well as easy enough to be used by the majority of the regular person

...Which is why I can get a custom PC for around $850 that's better than the Mac Pro. It's also why I can get more **** done on Windows, due to the fact that you have to be a small child in order to screw up your PC, and make Windows crash.

Windows don't make computers, Windows makes the OS

I know how nice their products are and they really do crush the competition in the way of quality and performance. I love some of the new features...BACKLIT keyboard definitely comes in handy, and it does come with 4gb of RAM, 320GB harddrive, but when I was looking at a macbook I was not looking at a professional laptop, just somthing to do occasional gaming and to use it for school
