    Hey Everyone,

I have a Itouch that I usually stick in my sports bra when I exercise. I hella sweat, and I've been doing this for awhile and noticed now that there are water spots inside my itouch.

All the functions work, it's just that these water spots seem to be getting "bigger".

What should I do? I'm really concerned that my itouch will stop working all of a suddenly. Since, it's been 2-3 days, I have turned it on and off to see whether the water spots have decreased, but unfortunately it looks like they are spreading.

    What should I do?

    Thanks.

Yeah...I ordered one on Amazon, but that doesn't fix the problem I have right now.

    Which generation, how much storage?

    You could replace the screen...

Yikes! Sorry everyone!...I joined this forum solely because of this problem, I thought I could get some experienced advice on this matter!

I don't see a troubleshooting section so I posted under this section.

I'm not sure whether I have a 2nd gen or a 3rd gen...I know it's definitely not the first one because I have the built-in speakers.

Can someone move this thread? and/or give me some advice on this water problem? I don't even own a hairdryer, should I go buy one?

You have the 2nd Gen. The 3rd Gen is not released, and won't be until (hopefully) September.

Try putting your iPod into a bag of rice for a few days.

and do NOT use a hairdryer! it damages it more.
a hairdryer doesnt dry right away, it pushes water first and it will blow water farther down into the hardware.

just put it in bag of rice for a few days
