    what do i do?

i have a 1.1.4 jailbroken ipod jailbroken using ziphone
    1. mobilesync.framework got messed up so itunes couldnt recognize the pairing records
    2. the folder "user" got deleted
    3. applicaitons wouldnt open so i couldnt open settings and reset everything
    4. i turned the ipod off and it was stuck with the apple logo and the spinning wheel of death
    5. when i turn it on it just has the apple logo and nothing else...nothing will load...it just stays at the apple logo

Search for DFU mode. put your ipod into DFU mode and restore it.

edit: search youtube there's videos on there that show you how to get into DFU mode.

    I'll explain DFU^^^

-Hold down the home button and power button for 7 seconds

-Then let go of the power button while remaining hold on the home button

-Then after about 30 seconds iTunes will recognize it and it will say Waiting for iPod...

-Once it is done Waiting for iPod... you can restore it. May I recommend firmware 2.1?

nope dfu mode is just a black screen.
itunes should say something when you connect your ipod and will give you an option to restore

You buy the firmware from Apple via iTunes/their website/whatever and you update your iPod to it via iTunes. It costs about 10 bucks.

You have to upgrade to 2.X to get AppStore. And 2.X costs money, 10 bucks.
