    Hello!

I have a iPod touch 16 GB and a ASUS WL-500G Premium Wireless router. I use 128 bit WEP to "protect" my network. Also I assign IP addresse to specific MAC-addresses. I added my iPod touch to that list. So that should work fine.

Here is now my problem: THE STUPID IPOD DOESNT CONNECT!!!! I tried to enter the "normal" password and the 26-digit-HEX-password. Still "unable to connect...". A friend of mine has also a 128 bit WEP key and there it works without a problem! I entred the HEX key and it worked fine.

I saw a few threads about this or a similar topic... but i never found a solution. Can somebody help me please? I am going crazy here... :/

    Okay - shame on me!

I just forgot to also add the mac address to the Wireless - Access Control. Now it works fine. *puh*
