    there are children here and i dont want them to tell their mommies i say FAK. well anyway i went to pwn my ipod after being restored to 1.1.4 to be JB on 2.0. and now it wont start or anything. thanks winpwn! im not bashing winpwn but come on. ill post a video of it soon but this is really stupid does anyone know if apples warranty is still active now?

    nothing works it was in the middle of pwning and after it said NOR flashing rebooting it just went blank. i left it alone and tried home and hold and just hold and even a reboot of my comp and plugging it in and nothing

    Everybody's warranty is still active. And there's pretty much no way to "FAK" or brick your iPod, but if you really can't find a solution, then....

    Anyway, first of all, in order to Pwn your iPod using WinPwn, it is required that you be in DFU mode on 2.0 FW FIRST, before doing the restore process. You can pwn iTunes in any FW you have, using the Custom FW that you made earlier in the process. Just follow the guides that Winpwn and other people provide - If you follow the steps correctly, you should encounter NO problem.

    Note that in neither of the guides that Winpwn offers do they tell you to have 2.0 FW before entering DFU mode (At least this was the case when I used 2.0.0.3 RC1).

    try DFU over and over again

    the SAME EXACT THING happened to me (made a thread about it)

    you're not screwed, you're alright, just try DFU with your iPod plugged in, and try over and over...

    it works

    nope. like you know how even when the iPod is still on it is like tan and not black when its in sleep mode? well it doesnt even show that it just looks like it would if it was turned off

    yeah keep trying dfu, remember exactly 10 seconds then let go of sleep, try it 5-10 times
