Well, i opened up cydia for the first time

    And i think it froze? I picked USer and then i was browsing, then i think it said it ws uploading, then it froze, then in the changes option below, there is a red circle that has the number 2 in it. what should i do

    the only thing i can advise is to reboot your ipod, go through the jailbreak process again,and see if it works then

    If it froze, just let it sit there for a while because it MIGHT unfreeze. If it doesn't unfreeze, then you might have to do what I did and do a restore but I don't know. If you restore, you will lose all your jailbroken apps unless you back them up. The number 2 thing is just telling you how many changes there are and has nothing to do with the freezing thing. The app store does this too to tell you how many updates there are for your apps.

    How did you get your ipod into DFU to JB??

    I couldn't put it into DFU, only into recovery mode (arrow pointing towards itunes)
    How did you get yours into DFU?

    Simple. Plug into your computer and hold power + home at the same time for 10 seconds, then let go of power while keep holding home for 10 more seconds. Listen to the computer sounds to know when to let go. If you did it right it should install drivers and the iPod screen will remain black.
