I've noticed (and this isn't the first time) that when i boot up my freshly updated ipt2g running 3.0 the boot logo remains for a bout ten seconds and then it disappears, just leaving a backlight. This dim backlight lasts for 5 seconds until my ipod boots up to the passcode screen. Has anyone else experienced this?

Also, how do you end background processes in 3.0. I'm in safari and holding the home button for ages to no avail

    Thanx

Yes, common bug, nothing do worry about, don't know about the background processes though.

thank god. I thought it was just me. Maybe all the free updates weren't polished yet? I can see 3.0.1 coming soon to patch this up.

actually i tried with safari and funnily enough it didn't work. I remember seeing a screenshot floating around on blogs and tech forums about ending processes. I guess i'll have to find that if no one can help. I got so annoyed of safari, mail and ipod dragging down my resources that i just had to hard reset last night.

the boot thing is totally normal, Apple rewrite the springboard and the method of it crash and hang the cash, so when the logo disapear it just load you cash icon
