    Hi there!

Ive looked around but havent seen someone with the
same problem so im posting it now.

So my brother has a Ipod touch 2G 8GB MC.
Withoute checking version i jailbroke it and worked fine for weeks.
Then it shutdown during a app (low battery) and went to restore mode. so i though well i need to jailbrake it again and it should work. But no. it was stuck in the "recovery loop" and nothing worked so i had to restore it.. 3.1.3 :/

so ive looked around and restored it to 3.1.2 but everytime i run blackr1n it gets stuck on rebooting device or writing to rom and i get the recovery logo on the device again, and only way to get it back is to do itunes recovery. Ive tried also with DFU mode but same result.

what am i doing wrong? i use this firmware:
    iPod2,1_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw

sorry for my crappy english // a

    I wonder if it's because it's tethered.

all you need to do is re run blackrain and it will wok perfectly. and tethered means that if it shuts of you need to rejailbreak to to turn it back on/get it to be jailbroken.
