Weird iPod Touch 2g Problem

    I think my speakers are broken? When my headphones are connected the sound works and i can control it but when i try to use my speaker it doesn't work. any idea what's wrong?

    It's possible, do you know if you installed anything around the time that they stopped working?

    I doubt its a software problem but if it is repring, reboot or restore.

    most likely something is conflicting with your iPod so it doesn't know when your head phones arnt plugged in. Dfu Restore should fix it

    is it a new ipod? then maybe the handling wasn't good enough, check to see if there are cracks in the box. i dont know, im not good at this

    Try DFU and restore, but make sure you back up all of your apps and data before you do it because you'll lose everything. And if that doesnt work take it to apple if you still have waranty
