Hey all, my iPod came with the 3.1.2 firmware, which I then jailbroke. After I saved the SHSH with Cydia, it displayed: "This device has SHSHs on file for iPhone OS: 3.1.3"

Shouldn't it read "for iPhone OS: 3.1.2"? I haven't ever upgraded my firmware.

saurik isnt holding 3.1.2 anymore, for 3.1.2 you'll need to do it locally with tinytssl or autoshsh

Hmmmm, no because it itself has never received the 3.1.2 SHSH signatures from Apples server. We're not able to receive the 3.1.2 signatures as they are no longer being given out by Apple. it's an unsigned firmware, unsupported.

So if I restore with the SHSHs saved on Cydia I would end up with the 3.1.3 firmware?

Yeah, you have a guaranteed way back to 3.1.3, but 3.1.2 is a lost cause, so I would suggest being careful about what you do while jailbroken, if you don't want to lose your jailbreak that is.
