I recently got a web design job for a local skateshop in a big mall about a mile away. Now, I'm done with the basic layout and design and need some feedback on it before I show the owner the design.

It's going to be basically an online shop along side from his store front.

Any feedback and criticism appreciated because I want it to be perfect!

Also, what would be the best store to embed into the site? eCommerce? Any idea's?

Well, to tell you the truth, I'm not either! lol
But it's his store font. It's on his sign and everything.

It doesn't strike me as professional really, even if it is for Skateboarding.

Look around the net for designs you like and do your own version, as long as you don't rip them off. For example, this website is very good, it strikes me as professional and know what they're talking about, but still had a graffiti look to it.

Seriously, reconsider the layout and design. And ditch the awful colours, use a better colour palette.

the gradient on the large text is a little much - try toning down the white (EG: instead of green-white, make it green-light green)

well actually it is already green-lgiht green, but make the lighter green a little darker

im not to keen on the green and pink writing. I think it looks a bit to kiddy and doesnt have the proffessional but still fun and attractive look

its not how he wants it look its how the customer wants it too look, he obviously told him what he had in mind and thats what the designer did.

No offense but you shouldn't be speaking, your website isn't much better. If the client likes it then that's all that matters...

Thank you man! The skateshop owner wanted his website this way, with the color, the text, everything. I did it for him and he is happy with it.

P.S. I am going to edit the original post with a higher quality preview.
