    Hello, my name is fragman.

I have my own website hosted on my local box, and i was coding a music sharing script which took a while but is nice to have. while testing my pages on my ipod touch, i noticed that when i upload music on my pc, i can go to my site from anywhere with wifi and it plays in the browser!!! has this been done before, because this meens that anyone who wants to can upload music from their computer and listen to it from their ipod..

if you want a try, ill give you the url to my server, but i cant post it due to my bandwidth.

    -fragman

*edit* i think my connection can handle it

actually i think i can handle it to a certian extent.
    my sites url is fragatory.dyndns.org

you have to register which takes about 3 seconds

then you you login and from the members page to go media sharing

from there you can upload your own .mp3 files from your computer or click on the "pool" link thats where me and my friends post our music for everyone.

to listen to music, you do the same thing on your ipod but you just cant upload music.

if im not clear just ask =]

do you think this could come into good use?

i really hope this takes off, because it think it has alot of potential.
i got a p.m asking if my music is legal, and yes, i have the liscense for the pennywise album that i put up for people to sample. (its D.R.M free also)

So have fun, and i would love feedback!

i just tested it to work, and its fine with my .mp3's i would try another .mp3, or if you really need it up; you can send it to me and i would be happy to manually post it for you.

Just requesting the new Nine Inch Nails song from their Single they released last night.
I tried to upload, 4 times, nothing. I'll try another mp3.

Edit: Another mp3 I tried. Didn't go through.

    is it DRM'd?

edit: i had a peer try it and it worked perfectly, but i have a feeling it could be your .mp3 files not fitting the universal MIME types.
