    right, lets sort this out.

    What theme are you using?

    Which widget.

i am using a theme i created based off the lets.see theme. pretty much just the icons. im trying to use the wallpaper from the vector theme and a dock i found somewhere back on 1.1.x. i currently have the myopia weather widget installed.

if you want to make it easier. download wbapp from cydia. It helps you to apply themes from winterboard and it comes with the weather widget.

you can also easily setup the widget from this app.

i shall try. thanks for the tip.

EDIT: this wbapp doesnt work. the weather widget doesnt ever turn on. even when its the only theme i try to apply. and i dont really want to have to use it. winterboard seems like it can work just fine as soon as i get this little problem fixed. thanks for the input though.

make sure that you have enabled wallpaper and lock screen in the configuration screen.

I don't know what is wrong in your case. it worked right away for me.

maybe some configuration files left when you installed the widget.
you could try to remove all trace of the widget and reinstall wbapp.
