Why does the icon for Weather.app not dynamically update based on the current weather conditions? Calendar.app changes it's icon to reflect the current date, so why not Weather.app? This feature should be included in 2.3!

Ask Apple? And not all people have the weather set up to their city, while the calendar is automatically set for everyone. I would like to see it in 2.3 like you said though.

OK. Still, for those who have set Weather.app, this would be good.

Yes it would, but Intelliscreen made it better by placing it on the lockscreen. Apple should implement this.

I've been thinking, why is apple like this. They actually can't create the *perfect software*

Exactly! The lockscreen has so much untapped potential! BlackBerry-style "info-at-a-glance" would an excellent feature. Apple, are you listening?

True. Nobody can. That's just Apple's legendary rather arrogant attitude. Crowdsourcing and community software are the wave of the future, but Apple's lockdown approach has helped save the Mac platform from a potential cornucopia of viruses.
