so i remember a while back (way back) about ways to get a new iPod or ways to make it so your warranty will cover a faulty iPod. can somebody try to dig up that thread for me i'm in desperate need of a new touch. if not what are ways to purposely break you iPod so they will replace it for free?

also will apple replace a 1st gen touch with a 2nd gen?

    thanks for your help!

That would be fraud. But here's how to do it:

    1. Go to the main office at your school and ask how to get working papers.
    2. Follow the instructions
    3. Once successful, find a place you would like to work.
    4. Go in and ask "how old do you have to be to work here"
    5. If you're old enough, say "may I have an application please"
    6. Fill it out.
    7. Hand it to a manager
    8. Ask them to call you when your application has been reviewed
    9. Repeat steps 3-8 until you get hired somewhere.
    10. Once hired, show up on time and do your work.
    11. Recieve your paycheck.
    12. Go to a bank and cash it.
    13. Find an Apple store.
    14. Go in, pick out an iPod touch you want.
    15. Proceed to the checkout and PAY for it.
