Is there a way such as a plist edit that can change the way volume is controlled like in the old iPod touch? I want it so that the ringer and normal volume always stay the same and can be controlled together via the side buttons.
Reason is, when I silence the ringer, sometimes I open up a game and sounds will still play because the normal volume was not lowered.

If I remember correctly, there was a setting in sounds where you could set if the volume buttons could change the ringer volume, but no way to control both at the same time. Ive edited a few plists already such as enabling usage and the camera and now that setting seems to be gone.

    Any suggestions or ideas?

    Thanks

this doesn't solve the problem, it just makes it so that when you are on the home screen you are adjusting the ringer volume and when you are in a game you are adjusting the game/music volume. they are controlled separately, that's the problem.

Yep that's exactly my problem. Also, that setting in sounds is gone for some reason I think because I enabled the usage setting and HDR via plist edits.
