Hi, I've got a 32Gb iPod Touch 3rd gen, and I rarely use the voice controls because quite frankly I find it annoying and long to hold down the button to activate it just to change a song or artist or something, so my question is:
Is there an app/mod that allow you to leave voice controls activated whilst listening to music?

The idea is that you can be listening to music and suddenly say "next" or "play songs by Emimen" and it would change right away, rather than having to hold down the button for a few seconds...

yeah I want a way to run voice control in the background, when I backgrounded it, it just went away, is there a way to keep it there and background it so you can keep saying commands?

you would have to have some sort of activation otherwise you might find your ipod doing weird things if you are walking in a noisy area. maybe an app that would change the activation to something faster?

If someone created an app or addon for this, I would think that there should be some kind of key word you would say to activate it. Like you would have to say "unlock" followed by Next, Pause, or w/e to use the Voice Commands. That way you the ipod wouldn't accidentally pick up words from the background or you talking as commands as easily.

I think I saw a mod where you could associate loads of different buttons/commands with ipod functions. like making the volume buttons change song back and forward, anyone else know of this? Could it be used here?
