Short version: I need something to cover my ipod's touch screen that is waterproof but still allows me to use the screen functions. Making a DIY case since otterbox is too expensive.

Longer Version: I'm new to the forums but have been visiting this site for quite some time. I am currently in the process of making a DIY ipod case. I am going to use my ipod as part of my beer pong table using a remote app, so I need to make it waterproof. I plan on building a non-mobile case that is waterproof enough that I do not have to worry about spills. However, I am much too cheap to purchase the otterbox or similar case's and i really have no need for shock absorption or other protection, just the waterproof part. Does anyone know what kind of material could work?

    Thank you in advance

I was about to suggest the same thing. A Ziploc bag will work perfectly. Double it for sureness.

i think he may just mean the screen, like if hes sweating or something, but if not then i completely agree with the ziplock bag idea lmao

Honestly, I don't understand what you're saying about having it as part of the table? Oh well. Ziplock bags work perfectly for me when I go to the beach. Maybe try saran wrap if you want a tight fit.
