Water Damage?

    So yeah, I think water might have gotten into my iPod, at first it wouldn't it even turn on but my brother got it on somehow, but when it did, the screen wouldn't respond to a single touch, and it looks like there might be water in it.
    I have no idea what happened...
    I know the whole rice thing, but if its not responding then it must have already gotten to the circuits right?
    I still have my warranty seeing as how I bought it this year so would I get a replacement/repair?
    It was jailbroken so I restored it so they wouldn't know, does it make a difference?

    If it wasn't a DFU restore then they might still be able to tell.

    They don't cover water/liquid damage. Look in your headphone jack, if it's red not white, you're screwed... If it is white theres still a possibility the liquid detector in the 32 pin dock cable port might be red.
