I put it through the wash but it was Off and Dead...

    Should I:
    1. Soak in rubbing alcohol
    2. Put in rice
    3. Put it under a lamp/ dryer

I wont attempt to turn it on for a few days.

Same thing happened with my friends iPod. Put it in a bag of rice, completely covered, and let it sit for 4-5 days. Hopefully it will bring it back to life. Best of luck D:

Just make sure you don't turn it on. By turning it on, the electricity will fry your iPod.

Don't plug it into your PC either, that'll turn it on

Yeah, the bag of rice trick works. My friend did this with his 3rd Gen Christmas day and now it's working perfectly fine, thank god.. His mom's got some anger issues.
