A week ago, I put my 1st gen iPod touch 16GB in the washing machine with my jeans.

I let it dry with a bag of rice and today, the Apple logo came up and guess what, the iPod started working again

I noticed some problems after the iPod started working.
First, the screen is all messed up; there are water marks all over the screen.
Second, the play icon on the left corner of the screen is on a weird position.
Third, the battery doesn't charge at all. It just stays around 5 percent.

Well, I know the iPod's busted because I put it in the washing machine, but I want to get at least some things fixed. I at least want to get the play icon issue fixed.

the play problem is weird, but the screen can probably be fixed with more rice.

You are supposed to let it dry in there for a couple days.

It seems like a lot of people are accidently washing their iPods.
